The totally renovated version of HyChinese.com, the web platform owned by Welcome Chinese that targets the Chinese community of independent travelers, has been released.
New features include search filters within each business category: hotels, restaurants, museums and cultural sites, stores and boutiques, amusement parks, country destinations. The latter category has been highly demanded by travelers planning an overseas trip. By allowing travelers to select our partners based on the benefits and services offered to Chinese guests, filters encourage them to remain on the website and refine the search. This focuses the user’s attention on the strong points and most unique characteristics of each of our partners.
Partners will be granted the possibility of adding detailed information about their business, including pictures with captions and videos. In order to maximize the growing visibility that comes from this new platform, it is very important that every partner completes his online profile. To do so, we kindly ask that you log on to the Member Area right through this website and verify that you have filled in the largest number of fields – including pictures – with information that is complete and relevant. Our team in Shanghai will be happy to provide support as needed.
HyChinese also hosts a blog divided in subcategories ranging from culture to food and news from the tourism industry. The website aims at granting an inspirational and full-spectrum experience to Chinese people, no matter if they have already planned a trip or if they’re just dreaming about one. Once users are registered, they can compile a world map of places they have been and where they wish to go. In cases in which vouchers are available, they can fill out a wish list and save it for a future trip.
The website is fully compatible for viewing and use from tablets and smartphones.
We at the Candlewood Suites Calgary Airport North, closely located to the Calgary airport YYC, have been certified by the China Tourism Academy as having reached the JADE STANDARD of "Welcome Chinese" Certification. As such we greet each guest with a special Welcome envelope with Chinese information on our extended stay hotel. Guests receive slippers, tea, and have access to kettles and rice cookers at no charge. Some items are available in our little convenience store called The Cupboard, and there is a Chinese Super Market about 2 kilometers away which has a full selection of food items, commonly found in China, including live fish. Also at the same shopping area, an authentic Chinese Restaurant called The T. Pot , China Bistro From our location we have easy access to main highways to take you to Banff National Park, or the Royal Tyrrell Museum, an excellent Dinosaur museum. Candlewood Suites is an excellent location with cooking facilities which provides a great home base as you travel to various attractions in the area.
