Guglielmo Marconi Airport in Bologna became the fourth hub – the second in Italy – to receive the Welcome Chinese Certification for upgrading its services aimed at Mandarin-speaking travelers.
Mr. Enrico Postacchini, President of the airport, took the floor during the same ceremony that saw the certification of the city of Bologna on March 10th. He explained: "In the medium-term outlook, the Welcome Chinese Certification will allow the hub of Bologna to become more appealing to Mandarin-speaking passengers and Chinese airlines."
Mr. Postacchini went on: “In order to achieve this target, we are translating into Mandarin the informative signage inside the terminal. The website is already multilingual, all our boutiques accept UnionPay credit cards and restaurant menus have also been translated.” Promotional activities on Weibo and Wechat are scheduled as well. The goal is clear: to introduce a direct flight from China to Bologna, and the hub’s management is putting all its effort into the task.

Pot , China Bistro From our location we have easy access to main highways to take you to Banff National Park, or the Royal Tyrrell Museum, an excellent Dinosaur museum. Candlewood Suites is an excellent location with cooking facilities which provides a great home base as you travel to various attractions in the area.
