Welcome Chinese at World Travel Fair (WTF) Shanghai – May 2014

As one of the biggest and most important travel exhibitions in China every year, the World Travel Fair (WTF) as usual attracted hundreds of exhibitors. According to the official report, more than 500 exhibitors from 50 counties and regions were participated in and there were 7948 trade visitors and buyers joined together in Shanghai Exhibition Center this year. Welcome Chinese, as one of the 570 exhibitors, built our own booth and held road shows during the fair. Certified hotels were listed and presented on the background wall. In addition, Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori S.p.A. (NTV), the excellent private – owned transportation company in Italy also joined as a new member of Welcome Chinese, and was presented exclusively in the exhibition by its Chinese representatives. Welcome Chinese’s booth in the WTF 2014, where visitors and media were attracted and ideas were shared. The 3-days exhibition helped to accumulate more than 300 potential peer contacts and gathered 25 media coverage. CCTV, China Daily, CBN, The World Traveler and Travel & Leisure + and many other media visited our booth and made excellent reporting. Welcome Chinese booth in WTF 2014 Certified Hotels were listed on the wall. Jacopo Sertoli, the President and CEO of Welcome Chinese, was taking interviews with media at the scene. As a member of Welcome Chinese and represented in China, a presentation about Baglioni Hotels was exclusively made on the first day of the exhibition on the central stage. The Welcome Chinese presentation in the central stage introduced services of hotels certified in different levels. Visitors and participants followed the Welcome Chinese official social accounts on Weibo and WeChat. Mr. Jacopo Sertoli gave the presentation of Welcome Chinese in the central stage, with a vivid show of sand painting, which demonstrated the most essential idea of the new hospitality standards.
