Three prestigious jewelry stores in Lisbon, namely NOL Jewellers, Maria João Bahia Jewelry and Joalharia do Carmo, are the latest entries among the shopping venues certified by Welcome Chinese.
From its location at the westernmost edge of Europe, Portugal can go unseen against the background of the never-ending boom of Chinese outbound tourism. Nevertheless, Lisbon is experiencing an impressive surge of arrivals from the Asian country. The Portugal Tourism Authority registered only 74,000 Chinese visitors in 2012, but the number jumped to 170,600 by August 2016, with most of the travelers (122,300) sojourning in 4 and 5-star hotels. The average stay is slightly less than two nights (1,76), but at 5-star hotels it is longer. The launch of the first direct flight between Lisbon and Beijing is scheduled for June 2017.
Given this strong upward trend, it doesn’t come as a surprise that luxury stores in Portugal are applying for the Welcome Chinese Certification, the only one that paves the way to direct representation in China, with the decisive support of the China Tourism Academy (CTA).

Pot , China Bistro From our location we have easy access to main highways to take you to Banff National Park, or the Royal Tyrrell Museum, an excellent Dinosaur museum. Candlewood Suites is an excellent location with cooking facilities which provides a great home base as you travel to various attractions in the area.
